Supporting Future Services for People with Disabilities
The Kreider Services Foundation is planning for a future where individuals with developmental disabilities and their families can continue to receive quality care and assistance from Kreider Services. In 2008, the Foundation launched a planned giving program designed to reach out to individuals and families who share a commitment to people with developmental disabilities.
Estate gifts from individuals to the Kreider Services Foundation will generally be treated as endowment funds, remaining in perpetuity generating interest. This interest will be used to ensure that Kreider Services can respond to future challenges and opportunities, and continue to provide quality services in the years to come.
You…us…together…for the future of Kreider Services
You don’t need to be wealthy to care about and support the future of Kreider Services through the Kreider Services Foundation. Nor do you need a lot of money to take a planned approach to charitable giving. While there are many giving options, bequests allow you to express your support of Kreider Services through your will or living trust.
You can name the Kreider Services Foundation as the direct beneficiary of a stated amount or a stated percentage of your estate. You can also designate the Kreider Services Foundation to receive all, or a portion of, the remainder of the estate once all specific bequests have been satisfied. You may even designate the Kreider Services Foundation as a contingent beneficiary in the event that family members or other beneficiaries do not survive you.
Here is sample language that can be used to provide a bequest:
“I give, devise, and bequeath [insert amount of gift, percentage of estate, or residuary of estate here] to the Kreider Services Foundation, 500 Anchor Road, PO Box 366, Dixon, Illinois, 61021.”
Other Ways to Give
Another simple but very effective way to make a charitable gift through your estate plan is to name the Kreider Services Foundation as a beneficiary in · retirement plans · life insurance policies · annuities · or trusts
Beneficiary designation forms are available from the financial institution that holds the asset. |
