Family Matters: Bullying & Harassment

Tuesday evening, February 23rd, Florissa and Easter Seals will host “Family Matters Bullying & Harassment.” Facilitator Rosie Slaght will discuss:

The Impact of bullying behavior
Definitions of “bullying” and “disability harassment”
Views about bullying, Bullies and Targets
Signs of bullying
Reactions and intervention strategies
Use of the IEP to prevent and address bullying
Laws and policies that apply to disability harassment and bullying
Record Keeping regarding harassment
