Making and Keeping Friends

Sometimes children in 1st through 4th grades struggle with making or keeping friends. Starting Wednesday, September 9th, Florissa will be hosting the group “Making and Keeping Friends“. This group, led by Dr. Kelly Flangan, psychologist, will provide those children with specific skills that they can use with peers.

To register call Janet O’Donnell of Florissa at (815) 288-1905. Cost for the six week group is $60.00. Financial assistance is available. Snacks will be provided during group sessions.

The group is appropriate for children who are shy, have trouble understanding social relationships or lack awareness of appropriate behaviors with peers.
